I was delighted when I discovered that, as part of the Permeate programme, I could choose myself a mentor.  

On Thursday 7 July 2011, the current Permeate contributors came together to meet, share experiences and discuss project development thus far. 

I really enjoyed meeting Monica Richard, Permeate coordinator today. Positive, supportive and encouraging, just the kind of people I like to work with.

Last week we were at London Art Fair. Celia Davies, Head of Projects here at Photoworks nominated David Spero and Lisa Barnard for Photo50.

Just had a couple of photo-fantastic days in Paris. Paris Photo was overwhelming and an unexpected surprise was bumping into Rinko Kawauchi, with whom I worked closely during the 2010 Brighton Photo Biennial.
