Biography: Tim Brennan has been a practicing artist for more than twenty years. His discursive approach incorporates other academic disciplines such as history, architecture and geography, resulting in exhibitions, performances, writings and publications. Brennan’s work has been widely exhibited, both in Britain and internationally, and has been the subject of several books. Amongst his major projects to date are: The Republic of Atlantis at the National Maritime Museum; Museum of Angels (2003); Codex: Crusade (2004) based on his retracing the itinerary of the 1936 Jarrow March. Brennan is a Head of Art and Design at the University of Sunderland.
