Biography: Sian Bonnell is a UK based artist whose work has been exhibited and published widely. Her book Everyday dada was published in 2006 by Dewi Lewis Publishing. More recently, her work is featured in Auto Focus, The Self Portrait in Contemporary Photography edited by Susan Bright and published by Thames & Hudson. Sian combines her photographic work with research and lecturing at University College Falmouth and TRACE, the curation and publishing project which she runs from her home in Cornwall. She has frequently served on juries and panels including the Taylor Wessing Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery in 2009 as well as the 2006 Jerwood Photography Prize. Sian Bonnell’s work is in numerous private and public collections notably, The V&A Museum, London, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, USA, The Ransom Center, Austin, Texas, USA and The Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris.
