Lives and works in London
Immo Klink is a critical observer of social and political trends in his environment. Cultural globalization, consumerism, privatization of public space, surveillance, security or industrial food production are some of the guiding themes in his work.
After graduating with a Master of the Laws Immo Klink briefly joined Wolfgang Tillmans’ studio. He continues contributing to magazines such as ADBUSTERS, Another Magazine, Dazed&Confused, The Drawbridge, FRAME, I-D, NEO2, DAS MAGAZIN, Liberation, CAMERA AUSTRIA, Observer & Independent Magazine, Sueddeutsche Zeitung Magazin.
Exhibitions include Museum of Contemporary Art Castilla y Leon (MUSAC), National Portrait Gallery (London), Sala Rekalde (Bilbao), Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art (Sunderland).
Immo Klink has participated in numerous group exhibitions alongside Allan Sekula, Andreas Gursky, Boris Mikhailkov, Massimo Vitali, Thomas Hirschhorn, Tracey Moffatt and Wolfgang Tillmans.
