Biography: Derek Ridgers studied at Ealing Art School 1967-71 and then spent ten years as an advertising agency art director. He became a freelance photographer in 1981 and has since worked for, among others, The Face, Time Out, Sunday Telegraph, NME, The Independent on Sunday and Loaded.
