We aim to encourage the use and understanding of photography among individuals and community groups who do not have ready access to mainstream arts activities. We do this through individual membership (free) and photography projects in partnership with community groups.

We have over 300 individual members, who join free of charge and can attend photography workshops and use our studio in Chapel Street as well as book our well-equipped darkroom for black and white processing and printing. There is a small charge for use of the facilities with darkroom sessions supervised by trained volunteers.
